How Langham Logistics Made This Summer Unforgettable for Four Interns; and for the Langham Team
A story of learning, growth, and recognition in the logistics industry
This summer, Langham Logistics welcomed four exceptional interns to join our team and explore the exciting world of logistics. Each intern was assigned to a different department, where they had the opportunity to work on real projects, learn from experienced mentors, and apply their skills and knowledge to solve real-world challenges.
Our internship program was not a one-way street. The Langham team also learned a lot from our interns, who brought fresh perspectives, enthusiasm, and creativity to our work. We were impressed by their passion, curiosity, and initiative, as they eagerly embraced new tasks and responsibilities. We also enjoyed getting to know them personally, sharing stories, jokes, and advice during our coffee breaks and social events.
One of the unique features of Langham’s internship program is our collaboration with educational institutions and programs that share our vision of developing the next generation of logistics professionals. For some of our internships, we partnered directly with Indiana colleges like IU and Purdue, ensuring that our interns received academic credit and guidance from their professors. We also participated in the Xtern program, a prestigious initiative that connects talrealented students with leading companies in Indiana. By joining this program, we reaffirmed our commitment to nurturing local talent and giving back to the community that supports us.
Real-Time Experience at Langham Logistics
As an Indiana-based business, Langham Logistics understands the importance of retaining young professional talent in our neighborhood. We believe that investing in the future leaders of our industry is not only beneficial for our company but also for the economic growth and innovation of our state. That’s why we strive to provide our interns with a rewarding and meaningful experience that will inspire them to pursue a logistics career in Indiana.
We are extremely proud of all of our interns: Sean Cunningham (Purdue), Logan Jones (IU), Bryant Flint (Purdue), and Mary Kocerha (Miami University) who exceeded our expectations and delivered outstanding results.
