Langham Logistics Announces Sue Eckberg as Business Development Manager, Life Sciences

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

INDIANAPOLIS—Langham Logistics, a third-party transportation logistics, warehousing and distribution company based in Indiana, announces the addition of Sue Eckberg, Business Development Manager, to the team. Beginning January 2023 in this role, Eckberg will serve the rapid growth and demand for business development activities to provide cold chain storage and transportation solutions, with an emphasis in the Midwest, but also supporting national and global services and facilities.

“Sue is a fantastic addition to the Langham team, and we look forward to leveraging her deep understanding of customer applications for temperature-controlled solutions,” said Leah Harris, Director of Business Development. “Our customers will appreciate her attention to detail and commitment to quality, along with her consultative and hands on approach to building and maintaining relationships. We are absolutely thrilled to have Sue join our team!”

Eckberg, based in Chicago, IL, has extensive experience providing high quality environmentally controlled solutions for pharmaceutical applications such as research, manufacturing, and transport. She joins Langham after 11 years at Caron Products, a pharmaceutical laboratory equipment manufacturer based in Marietta, OH, managing regional sales over 11 U.S. states and three Canadian provinces. Prior to Caron, Eckberg worked with national and international medical and research distribution companies through Sanyo Biomedical Solutions in Wood Dale, IL.

“I am eager to join Langham Logistics, a company that has a reputation and commitment to high quality, which is critical to lasting success in the life sciences sector, while also utilizing my industry knowledge to help customers,” Eckberg said. “I’ve spent over 20 years in the scientific industry working closely with direct clients and channel partners, and am thrilled to join this organization and contribute to its ongoing success.”

In addition to transportation services, in the past few years, Langham has widened the reach of the life sciences division through additional temperature-controlled facilities in Whitestown, IN, Phoenix, AZ, Whiteland, IN, and imminent plans for future advancements in the Midwest and East Coast.

“The national cold chain warehousing market has drastically changed,” Harris said. “The U.S. lacks the cold chain warehouse infrastructure needed to support life sciences. Langham Logistics not only recognizes this, but we’re bold in our approach: we invest in innovative, state-of-the-art facilities, holding ourselves accountable to very strict sustainability goals and site selection strategies. Sue’s long-time commitment to providing clients with best-in-class solutions completely aligns with our strategy and goals.”

Eckberg lives in the Chicago suburbs with her husband and two small dogs. In her free time, she enjoys travelling, gardening and landscaping. You can find her going to baseball games in various ballparks throughout the country, and, as a Chicago Cubs fan, she enjoys a spirited baseball rivalry with her husband Jeremy, a St. Louis Cardinals fan.
