INDIANAPOLIS – Langham Logistics, a third-party logistics and freight management company, today announced that the life sciences services sector of the company now includes Head of Quality, Sean Merrill.
In his role, Merrill will oversee and scale the quality processes and infrastructure of Langham cGMP facilities. He’ll be ensuring quality management systems are reviewed, implemented, and maintained through conducting audits, providing continuous training on quality systems, and refining protocols with area work instructions

Merrill hails from Marietta, Ohio, where he received a B.S. in Chemistry from Marietta College. Since then, he has worked for ELPRO, a swiss-based manufacturer of temperature data monitoring solutions and GxP services for life science organizations. There, he began as a support specialist and rose to senior validation engineer over five years. In the last year, he’s been working independently as a consultant with specialties in quality management systems, quality auditing, computer systems validation, and facility and equipment decommissioning.

The addition of this position for the life sciences division of Langham supports the continued growth the company has seen in this sector. In the last few years, Langham has expanded its life sciences division including temperature controlled facilities in Whitestown, Indiana and Phoenix, Arizona.
