INDIANAPOLIS (September 24, 2020) – Langham Logistics, a third-party logistics and freight management company, has hired Erica Ewing as the operations manager for the new warehouse in Phoenix scheduled to open in November. She will assume oversight of all the operations for warehousing and distribution and work with a team to ensure compliance safety for GMP and pharmaceutical clients.
“Erica has exceptional organizational and people management skills that will position Langham for success as we continue to grow,” said Director of Engineering and Facilities Scott Swanson. “We look forward to her leadership and insight at the new APX facility.” 
Ewing comes to Langham from CSL Plasma, where she served as operations manager with oversight of all production, compliance, finance, safety, training and HR for the plasma collection and storage center for seven years. Her Bachelor of Science in Psychology hails from the University of Arizona class of 2013, and she holds a 2018 Master of Science in Healthcare Administration and Management from Grand Canyon University. Ewing boasts a long list of certifications including the American Society for Quality, Six Sigma Yellow Belt, Quality Improvement Associate and Good Manufacturing Practices.

The new facility, located at 7200 W. Roosevelt St. in Phoenix, is one day’s drive from the port of Los Angeles and will be available to GMP and pharmaceutical clients starting January 2021. The 151,000-square-foot space offers pallet storage for CRT, 2°C to 8°C, and ultra-low freezer temperature ranges.
