At Langham, we approach our operational process from two angles: the transactional level and the program level. While ISO 9001:2000 Standard provides our quality system backbone, we actively and physically enhance the quality and output of the system through continual refinement.
 
Every Transaction.
Whether it is an expedited shipment or a full ocean container, every transaction follows the same, proven process through our system. Once a customer tenders a shipment to us, we assume total responsibility for its flow from origin to destination.
 
Langham follows every shipment with a combination of electronic, web-enabled status checks supplemented with person-to-person communication. Customers may have as few or as many updates to each shipment as the situation dictates. Complete information is as close as the keyboard through Langham’s website or through data delivery straight to someone’s email inbox or fax machine. 
 
Every Program.
Langham’s clients seek more than just a pain-free way to ship a single load. They ask us to take the reins on entire programs or assume leadership on specific business processes. In that role, we become an extension of their business. To make every interaction positive, we implement highly-detailed work-flow plans. These include at least the following
  • Customer-specific area work instructions that detail expectations and the internal processes required to fulfill them.
  • Designated core account team matched with a client based on the team’s expertise and fit.
  • Escalation ladder that spells out how we address high-alert problems.
  • After-hours emergency contacts equipped with remote system access.
  • Performance criteria assessed 10, 20, and 30 days into the program, then monthly thereafter.
